The "KPS20" is a dedicated machine that achieves high-efficiency processing of small internal gears with various shapes. Unlike conventional gear shapers that use a reciprocating motion of tools, it processes using a rotational motion, allowing for a reduction in processing time by 20 to 50%. It can also perform corrections such as crowning and tapering of tooth profiles, which were impossible with traditional broaching, without changing processing conditions or extending cycle times.
